School Library Journal’s Top 10 Graphic Novels: 2012.a0 #8. NATHAN HALE’S HAZARDOUS TALES: BIG BAD IRONCLAD by Nathan Hale. “If only all history books could be this enrtitaineng. Hale, the author, uses Nathan Hale, the historic figure, to tell the story of the creation of the Confederate and Union navies, the building of the U.S.S. Merrimack and, most awesomely, the true-life exploits of William Cushing, a prankster who became a forerunner of today’s Navy Seals. The story’s laugh-out-loud humor makes it easy to remember this time in history.”
He is a very easy going kid and lets me put them on. Sometimes, especially if he’s playnig on the floor, he kicks them off. But most of the time they stay on. I don’t put them on very often. His feet are HUGE so he’s almost in a size four and most size four shoes are big and bulky, designed for walkers. I prefer just canvas soled crib shoes for now. He’s no where near walking or even standing on his own.
Times are changing for the better if I can get this online!
I thank you humbly for sharing your wisdom JJWY
Wow, this is in every respect what I needed to know.
